The VBB EV 7.0 is our premier noise barrier for the most critical areas of the vehicle, such as the floor and wheel arches. It features a sophisticated “sandwich” construction that combines a 3mm heavy acoustic membrane with a 4mm layer of lightweight Aerospace Mastic. This design leverages the “Mass Law” principle with a density ratio of approximately 2.5:1, effectively blocking low-frequency road noise and rumble. It offers a sound insulation improvement 28% higher than previous generations while maintaining a lighter weight profile suitable for electric vehicles.
