DrARTEX EV VBB (7mm, 2026)

DrARTEX EV VBB is a resonance-free second-layer insulation material for EV floors and wheel arches, where road noise and panel resonance need stronger control after the first damping layer.

Its layered construction combines a foamed-polyethylene layer, a heavy soundproofing membrane, and a non-woven surface to support sound-insulation treatment. The construction and acoustic role are the same across the published EV VBB variants; only the sheet and package format changes.

This variant uses a compact regular sheet format for controlled handling in floor and wheel-arch treatment.

A multi-layered combination of elastic foamed polyethylene, heavy layer membrane based on butyl-rubber mastic and non-woven fabric.

Install on clean, dry surfaces, including complex areas. Do not apply to corroded metal. Clean with water and a neutral detergent, allow the surface to dry, then degrease with a suitable solvent and let it dry completely. Press the material firmly from the centre outward to avoid trapped air, then roll it thoroughly. Apply in a working environment between +18 and +35°C.

Application areas: EV floors and wheel arches.

Material should be stored inside at temperature not higher than +40°С in horizontal position on a flat surface at a distance not less than 1 m from any heating systems; avoid any wet conditions and contacts with oils and direct sun. Do not stack the materials more than 1.2m in height.
