DrARTEX Baffle Zima (11.3mm, Silver Foil, 2024)

Baffle Zima is a high-heat sound and thermal insulation material designed to help protect the vehicle cabin from strong solar radiation. Its flexible construction is particularly suited to roof treatment and other broad vehicle surfaces.

The multilayer structure combines a heavy sound-insulation membrane, thermal insulation, acoustic felt, and a self-adhesive layer. It is elastic enough to follow curved surfaces and is intended for installation on clean, dry vehicle panels.

This variant uses a lower-profile, broader sheet format for roof and body-panel treatment where wider coverage is useful.

Five-layer structure: nonwoven fabric, heavy sound-insulation membrane, thermal-insulation and acoustic felt, 0.6 mm synthetic butyl rubber adhesive layer, and release paper.

Install on clean, dry painted surfaces, including curved areas. Do not apply to corroded metal. Clean with water and a neutral detergent, allow the surface to dry, then degrease with a suitable solvent and let it dry completely. Press the material firmly from the centre outward to avoid trapped air, then roll it thoroughly. Apply in a working environment between +18 and +35°C.

Application areas: doors, roof, floor, and wheel arches.

Material should be stored inside at temperature not higher than +40°С in horizontal position on a flat surface at a distance not less than 1 m from any heating systems; avoid any wet conditions and contacts with oils and direct sun.
Do not stack the materials more than 2m in height.
