DrARTEX Baffle Plus (6mm, 2025-B)

Baffle is a practical foam-based sound and heat insulation material for doors, roofs, floors, and wheel arches. It is designed to add a flexible second-layer treatment after the vehicle panel has received its primary vibration-damping layer.

The foam-based construction is intended to follow curved vehicle surfaces and provide useful sound and heat insulation without turning the installation into a rigid formed part. Its practical role is different from Baffle BW, which is positioned for additional speaker back-wave diffusion.

This variant uses a lower-profile, more compact sheet format for easier handling in confined vehicle areas.

Five-layer structure: nonwoven fabric, heavy sound-insulation membrane, flexible foamed resin, synthetic butyl rubber adhesive layer, and release paper.

Install on clean, dry painted surfaces, including curved areas. Do not apply to corroded metal. Clean with water and a neutral detergent, allow the surface to dry, then degrease with a suitable solvent and let it dry completely. Press the material firmly from the centre outward to avoid trapped air, then roll it thoroughly. Apply in a working environment between +18 and +35°C.

Application areas: doors, roof, floor, and wheel arches.

Material should be stored inside at temperature not higher than +40°С in horizontal position on a flat surface at a distance not less than 1 m from any heating systems; avoid any wet conditions and contacts with oils and direct sun.
Do not stack the materials more than 2m in height.
