DrARTEX Shield (2mm, 2018)

Shield is a thin sealing and acoustic layer for creating enclosed spaces inside vehicle doors. It is intended to close the area around a door speaker and support a more controlled acoustic environment.

Its two-layer construction combines vibration-damping mastic with aluminum foil, giving installers a flexible material with strong adhesion for complex door surfaces. It is especially relevant to high-end car-audio and specialist audio door treatment where enclosure detail matters.

This product is two-layer sandwich consisting of thin layer of vibration-damping mastic with aluminum foil.

Install on clean, dry painted surfaces, including complex door surfaces. Do not apply to corroded metal. Clean with water and a neutral detergent, allow the surface to dry, then degrease with a suitable solvent and let it dry completely. Press the material firmly from the centre outward to avoid trapped air, then roll it thoroughly. Apply in a working environment between +18 and +35°C.

Recommended application: creating enclosed spaces around door speakers.

Material should be stored inside at temperature not higher than +40°С in horizontal position on a flat surface at a distance not less than 1 m from any heating systems; avoid any wet conditions and contacts with oils and direct sun. Do not stack the materials more than 1.2m in height.
